It was a horribly humid day today! Way to miserable to do anything outside. As beautiful as it looked, it was a good day to stay inside sitting under a ceiling fan. Karley and I did head to Quimby to work on our laundry. We had a great time at Gma and Gpa's. We did try to walk around town a little bit but we wised up quick and decided that in the AC was the place to be.
Gma Helen was nice enough to make us lunch and in historical fashion, proceeded to smoke the house and set off the fire alarms. Just like old times! It's pretty clear my cooking skills were inherited from my Mother. So we did have to open up the doors for a while and let the humidity in but as soon as the smoke was gone, we sealed up the house again to keep out the heat and moisture.
We are now in the 4th day of the 4 day Harry Potter marathon. Karley is still reading HP while she's watching HP on television. Here's a picture of her from yesterday when she fell asleep reading/watching. :-) Can't wait til Thursday night for the midnight premier! Hope I make it! :-) But Karley's pumped.
When we got back from Quimby it was still too hot to be outside. Even a dip in the pool isn't going to help this heat...

Karley thought she would check out how spacious Oscar's new pad is. She thought it was quite nice! Oscar was happy to have a visitor.
Another weekend is drawing to a close. Hopefully you've been able to enjoy all the fire flys out right now. Every year I wait for this time because I love the fire flys. Have a great week!
