Birth Announcement!

Early this morning, Molly finally had her babies!  We were surprised with just two bundles of joy.  We were hoping for 4 or 5 but 2 is good too.  Molly has been a good mom so far and is starting to figure out what is going on.  We ended up with one fawn female and one apricot female.  Both are picture perfect with little wrinkles on their little black masks.
I think Molly was pretty tuckered out.  It's probably a good thing that there were only two for her first litter.
It was quite a week.  I was way behind at work so we both put in a lot of hours this week.  Then when Friday rolled around (our anniversary) we were looking forward to a little down time but when we walked into the barn...  Great!  Two inches of water on the floor.  So I swept all the water out and Mike dug holes looking for the broken water pipe.  It happens to us almost every year.  When the frost goes out of the ground, we end up with a broken pipe in the barn.  So after all that, we were too tired and worn out to go out anywhere so we went to bed...  When we got up this morning...  Ta-Daa!  Two little girls waiting for us!  Just in the nick of time too.  I'm going out of town again on Sunday to Sheboygan so we are lucky Molly decided to have her babies today.
Besides the babies, Oscar is still the center of attention.  He continues to grow and grow!  He's an easy 40 lbs now.  I can't pick him up anymore.  We still practice dog shows but it seems to be turning into a wrestling match sometimes.  :-)
No!  Put your foot there!
Looking fabulous as always!
Well, Mike is outside mowing the yard...  Yes, you heard me correctly...  mowing the yard...  I think its more like vacuuming the yard with the push mower.  I'm doing laundry, packing for next week, and running out to the barn to check on the new babies.  Busy Busy Busy!
